Theodore Alexander Origins Square Cocktail Table- ta51209-c361
A cocktail table that draws directly on Art Deco. It is handcrafted in birdseye maple, a veneer whose tight swirling figure gives the square top real depth and movement, and it is accented with metal detailing in Starlight. The result has the polish of a 1930s interior without reading as a reproduction: low, clean, and confident.
It comes from Origins, the collection built from Paul Maitland-Smith's sketches and shaped by Art Deco and Streamline Moderne. The collection's language is long low profiles, minimal ornamentation, and elongated forms that suggest movement, and this table is a compact expression of it. The square shape suits a sectional or a symmetrical seating arrangement where a rectangle would feel directional, and the Landmark finish gives you the darker of the two options in the line. It pairs with the rest of the Origins group, including the rectangular cocktail table, console tables, and side tables.
