Cathedral ash gets its name from the arched, pointed grain pattern that runs up the board, and on a 24 inch square top that figure has room to show, so the piece brings pattern without any inlay or applied ornament. The Mineral treatment on the surface gives it a stone like, matte quality that contrasts with the wood grain underneath.
